Here are a few of the most important change to be aware of for Medicaid Insurance in 2026. This list is not complete, but shows key areas that may impact your application and account, including your responsibilities:
6-Month
Renewal
How does this impact you and your family? Starting on January 1, 2027, you will have to update your information with your local County Assistance Office every 6 months. Aging-Allies can help with your renewal.
Work & Community
Engagement
Beginning on January 1, 2027, you will have to work or volunteer at least 80 hours per month. You will be expected to prove these hours during your 6-Month Renewal. This only applies to Ages 19-64. We can help match you with a Volunteer Site as a PA Approved Advisor.
